英国173个地区的人们被告知“立即行动”，洪水警报被绘制出来

100多个地方发布了洪水警报，英国人被警告要为灾难性的天气做好准备。

英国环境署已经在全英格兰发布了165个洪水预警，提醒人们“立即行动”。该机构还确认了315个洪水警报，这意味着可能发生洪水。这一警告是在沃灵顿等地区最近被过高的水位淹没之后发出的。

当地居民Caroline McClymont在元旦遭遇了洪水。“一切都毁了。什么也救不了，”她告诉《卫报》。“需要六七个月的时间才能恢复正常。”北威尔士地区也遭受了严重的洪水。威尔士目前有两个洪水警报，34个洪水警报。

遗憾的是，极端天气还远未结束，英国人现在正面临出行中断。洪水发生时正值英国人重返工作岗位，这是一年中最繁忙的日子之一。萨里郡的M25高速公路在发生卡车撞车事故后，从A3的10号路口逆时针方向关闭，至Reigate的8号路口，数千名司机受到影响。
